Managing Your Subscription

Everything about your plan and payments lives in one place. This guide covers where to find it, how to change or cancel your plan, and what to expect from billing, taxes and refunds.

Where to find your subscription

Click your avatar in the top-right corner. Under Payments you will find three sections:

Section	What's there
Plans	Your current plan, the other plans, and the choice between monthly and yearly billing.
Balance	How many tokens you have left.
Billing history	Your transactions, plus Token usage: a breakdown of what your tokens were spent on.

Your Profile and Safety settings sit just above, under Account.

Upgrading

Moving to a bigger plan takes effect straight away: the new tools and the larger token allowance are yours as soon as you switch. You pay only the difference for the rest of your current billing period — the price is prorated, not charged twice.

Downgrading

Moving to a smaller plan takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Until then you keep everything you have already paid for, so a downgrade never cuts a month short.

One thing to plan for: tools that belong to the bigger plan — Magic Characters on Creator, say, or CMYK export on Master Pro — stop being available once the downgrade starts. If you are in the middle of a book that relies on them, finish those pages first.

Monthly or yearly billing

Every plan can be paid monthly or yearly. Yearly costs less per month — Creator, for example, is €12.99 a month on yearly billing instead of €16.99 — and your tokens arrive once a month either way. All prices are in Plans and Pricing.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time, in one click, with no fees. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. And the books stay yours: you own everything you make.

Taxes

Prices on AnyTale are shown without tax. VAT and any local taxes are calculated at checkout based on your country, so the total you pay can be higher than the plan price.

Refunds

If you are subscribing for the first time, you are covered by a 14-day money-back guarantee. Write to info@anytale.ai within 14 days to ask for a refund.

Running short of tokens

If you run out before the month is over, you can top up from €4.99 without changing your plan. How tokens are counted, and which ones expire, is covered in What Tokens Are and How Far They Go.

Tip: Thinking of a smaller plan? Check your Balance at the end of a few months first. If you regularly finish with plan tokens left over, a smaller plan probably fits — they don't carry over anyway. If you only run short now and then, a top-up may be all you need, without moving up a plan.
